Meet Dr. David Caceres (El Paso, TX)

David Caceres, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta in 2011. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Inspired by the profound role vision plays in how people work, learn, and experience the world, Dr. Caceres chose optometry as a career that blends problem-solving with long-term patient relationships and meaningful, measurable improvements in quality of life. What he enjoys most about being an optometrist is the variety each day brings, from helping a teenager build confidence and excel on the volleyball court through the right contact lens fit to having important conversations about how systemic health can impact vision. Being able to make both immediate and lasting differences in patients’ lives, sometimes all in the same day, is what makes providing comprehensive eye care so rewarding for him.
